Better late than never...right?

I know, I know. Total slacker. Life has been keeping me on my toes lately, what can I say? Richard and I are getting so excited to go to Philadelphia in 3 weeks! We are going for spring break, and get to visit my parents, as well as my brother Corey and his family in Virginia. It will be one of those trips that you come home from still needing a vacation, but it will be amazing regardless.

For Valentine's Day, which we celebrated on Friday due to extreme busy-ness on Saturday, Richard cooked steaks on the grill, and we had salad and potatoes with sparkling grape juice (which we drank in goblets). It was nice to have an evening at home after weeks of so much going on! Richard got me the movie Fireproof, which I highly recommend to all. Very clean and uplifting.

Now what, you might ask is keeping me so stinkin' busy? At school (work) we are working on the musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." I am directing the pit orchestra- a new experience for me. In the past musicals I have worked with at GHS, I have always played the violin in the pit. So, since we have actually been in the pit with the cast on stage, my arms have gotten a MAJOR wake up call. They are constantly sore, because I am conducting pretty much over my head so the cast can see my baton. It's crazy, but I think the musical will turn out very well. It's such a fun show. If you are interested in coming to see it, it is at Gilbert High School on February 26-28, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $7.00

Baby update: Doctor says everything is G-R-E-A-T. Richard went with me last time so he could hear the heartbeat, and he had the cutest smile on his face when the doctor said, "oh... that was a kick." I am 17 weeks, and will be 4 months on Monday. We are going in for the ultrasound on March 13 to find out if we are having a boy or girl. I can't believe that I am that far along! It's so fun to see my tummy starting to grow. (Richard grins about that, too. He's so funny!) Thanks so much to Heather for lending me maternity clothes! I am in an in between stage of them mostly being too big, but my jeans are definitely too tight. Thank goodness for rubber bands! Here's my "baby bump":
